Close to Carrick On Shannon (15 minute drive), and only 43km (35 minute drive) from Ireland West Airport (Knock).
A newly renovated, 2 bedroom, late 1800’s , traditional cottage.
Entering through the front door, through a small vestibule, into the main living room, which features a small solid fuel stove.
For ease, the TV is fitted to the wall, on an adjustable bracket.
Bedrooms situated either side of the living room, one twin room, one King-size.
For taller guests, please note, traditional doorways are quite low…..
To the rear, we have a small hallway, new refurbished bathroom and new modern kitchen extension.
The cottage is heated throughout, by electric radiators, and of course the small stove offers additional heat, if required and that extra cosy feel.
Through the gates, you will find ample car parking. We do ask that you park behind the gates, for the duration of your stay and not on the road in front of the cottage, as our neighbour requires 24hr access to the surrounding land.
The boundaries are typically, hedges, trees and raised banks, not secure fences, so we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead.
We have a Phonewatch alarm system fitted. There is zero surveillance in or around the cottage.

*Whilst we are dog friendly, and responsible dog owners ourselves, we are also in a rural location.
This in turn means that we are surrounded by fields and forestry, which obviously means livestock and wildlife.
If you are thinking of bringing your dog/s with you, please contact to discuss, before booking.
Our Dog Policy includes:
Dogs to be kept on leads outside the property
Be mindful of local livestock and wildlife
Bring your own blankets/covers to protect the furniture, if pets are to sit on them.
Do not allow your pet on the beds
Pick up after your pet (bags and bin provided)
